I started Rooted & Rude because I got tired of watching people confuse being grounded with being buried.
Grounded means you have roots.
Buried means somebody talked you into staying small and called it wisdom.
This publication is where I write about business, culture, quiet sovereignty, and the geography of leaving — leaving bad rooms, stale identities, dead-end thinking, fake opportunity culture, and polished nonsense dressed up like advice.
I have always been able to see the angle other people walk past. The sub-niche. The contradiction. The grift hiding behind pretty language. The exit door nobody noticed because they were too busy clapping for the performance.
So I stopped trying to fit the room and started reading it.
Rooted & Rude is for readers who were already paying attention.
